DAY OUT to DOVER to LOOK OVER CRUISE SHIP
MONDAY 26th JULY 2010
We were fortunate to be invited to have a "ship visit" to look over Fred Olsen's cruise ship "BALMORAL" when she docked in port at Dover.
So on a fine Monday morning we set off from Crawley by coach at 8.00 am and with a good run down to Dover we were in time for a cup of coffee before embarking the ship.
We were met by or hosts Darren and Sue from Style Cruises before having a short presentation from Fred Olsen and a jolly good look around the ship. None of us had been on the ship before and were impressed with what we saw. So much so Mike arranged a PROBUS cruise on Balmoral sailing from Southampton to Morocco in Aril 2011.
We had a good lunch onboard before returning home; and a good time was had by all.
